Padel is a paddle sport blending elements of tennis and squash, played in pairs on a smaller, enclosed court surrounded by glass and mesh walls the ball can bounce off, similar to squash. Players use solid, perforated, stringless paddles and hit the ball over a net much like tennis, but on a smaller court, with the walls making play even more dynamic and unpredictable. Thanks to fun wall rebounds, simple rules, and its focus on playing in pairs, padel is one of the most popular sports in the world, quickly drawing in beginners and experienced players alike.
